Sound barriers
Intent:
To reduce sound transmission and acoustic disruptions through sound barriers.
The STC requirements are for the window glazing only, not for the window assembly or wall construction.
The owner must ensure requirements are met throughout the entire building, including all tenant spaces. This may include designing tenant spaces directly or including a requirement within the lease agreement.
